It landed again. The spirit of revival exploded onto the scene in Detroit last night!

We had people from Wisconsin, Chicago, Toledo and other places make the trip just to experience the revival fire that has been lit in Detroit!

I was consumed by the glory of God myself all night long. Leading a meeting under such a strong influence of new wine is a site to behold! Then, when I was in the foyer one of my heavily anointed staff comes over and touches me… and I was done. I crashed. The anointing was so intense, and so new, that I collapsed. I’m still carrying that glory right now as I type this.
IT CONTINUES TONIGHT AT REVIVAL CHURCH
I’ll say it again, if you live within 2-3 hours of Detroit, and you are hungry for God, hungry for revival, it just wouldn’t make any sense to stay home today. If you think the Super Bowl is a better alternative, I have done a tragically poor job of revealing to you the level of God’s glory that arrived in the city last night. We cannot treat this arrival of the King casually. His Royalty is here!

10pm Friday nights are a wide open slot on the calendar to gather the church of the Detroit region.
What would it be like if every Christian in Detroit gathered together every Friday night to pray for revival? Can you imagine that?!
That means, if you are in this region, you are a critical part of this vision!
I hear people say all the time, “John, I can’t imagine anything that could keep me away from encountering God at theLab on Fridays. What else could there be?”
GOLD DUST
Last night theLab was at an amazing church in Attica and the King of Glory revealed himself!
Suddenly gold dust started showing up all over people’s hands and clothes. Visible evidence of God’s presence was everywhere!

This was the second time this happened in this particular church!
At Revival Church and theLab we’ve experienced gold dust, oil on people’s hands and the visible mist of God’s glory. It’s a sign of God’s glory!

A wave of revival hit Revival Church : Revival Church moving or switching nights
The thought of having a church service without the manifest glory of God just doesn’t make sense.
We’ve been declaring an atmosphere of signs and wonders, and last night at Revival Church several experienced gold dust. Someone who had it manifest in the children’s ministry just posted on Facebook:
I still have it on me! It comes and goes……its wild!
The packed out church was covered with the fire and glory of God as Catherine Mullins and Matt Sorger released the life of Jesus.
This atmosphere must be stewarded… and the company of burning ones at Revival Church are invested in this magnificent process of fire in Detroit!
HUMILITY AND HOLINESS
I continue to be wrecked by the fear of the Lord. It’s increasing. As the pressures of revival increase we must understand that the only way we’ll stand is if we fall to our knees.
Let’s continue to embrace holiness and humility as we strategically go after God unlike any time in our lives. The times are quite serious and we can’t casually handle the fire.
We have adopted what we consider to be the best advice for launching a full scale revival. Evan Roberts, the great revivalist, said:
"Congregate the people who are willing to make a total surrender. Pray and wait. Believe God’s promises. Hold daily meetings.”
A COMPANY OF BURNING ONES
We have already assembled the best team of emerging leaders I’ve ever been associated with—but we are just beginning!

HOLD DAILY MEETINGS
This is the next step in our strategy, but we need your help! Our host church is starting their own Sunday night service the first of January, which means we have a decision to make.
The ultimate goal is to secure a property that can hold thousands for major prophetic/revival conferences and events along with room for dorms and theLab internship. If you have ideas, I’d love to talk. I can connect you with the team involved in our property search. When we have our own property, we will be able to start developing the 24/7 church. Not only will there be daily meetings, but there will be hourly events around the clock. Imagine continual teaching in one room, non-stop groans of intercession in another and fiery revival services in another!
Since we only have a little over a month for something to happen, it looks like we may end up moving from Sunday night to Saturday night beginning the first week of January, 2012. So, clear your calendars now for this shift!

A gold miracle at Revival Church : Groans at theLab
We are going after the supernatural without apology at Revival Church and theLab!
Yes, Revival Church is one of those churches. We are going after supernatural manifestations of God’s glory.
And it’s happening. Last week a visitor to Revival Church reported to her pastor after Sunday’s service, as she was in tears and trembling, that God gave her a gold crown in her mouth.
In the Bible we read about stories of visible fire that rested on people in Acts. It really happened, and it can happen again. We’re going after that.
Bodies of water parted. Dead people started walking around on the Earth again. There were Third Heaven encounters. It happened and we’re going after it.
Burning angels revealed themselves to people. It happened. We want that.
As we pursue the Lion of Judah, Jesus, the Son of God, we will dive right into the supernatural.

This supernatural environment is escalating very quickly. The groans and trembling are increasing fast. Last night at theLab prayer event was indescribable. Today at the launch of theLab Internship, groans and roars echoed throughout the building. Tears were everywhere in a deeply prophetic atmosphere.

Revival fire just fell in Detroit! Can hardly get out the door!

People are flying in and driving in from great distances for the Detroit Outpouring!
Tonight was burning. People were trembling, weeping and breaking into freedom. There was extreme ministry and powerful manifestations going on in the foyer!

Revival fire just fell in Dtroit! Everyone screaming – “I will not turn back!” Strongholds we look you in the face and say “you're coming down!” Fire, tears, shaking, laughter, holy glory!! Kids laid out on the floor shaking and crying! Can't hardly get out the door!
As I shared in my previous post, I’m so deeply grieved that so many precious precious people are simply missing this event! This is historic…a time for the whole church of Detroit to be together in one place!
SUNDAY NIGHT HAS THE POTENTIAL OF EXPLODING
Leonard Jones, a world renowned worship leader with MorningStar Ministries will be with us along with revival worship leader Aaron Crider. Then, Brian Simmons will leading us into the third night of the outpouring!

A WHATEVER CHURCH
I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a bit raw, incredibly desperate. I am craving a revival and move of God in our region- and I’m certain that church as usual isn’t the appropriate structure.
There are over 19,000 cities in America, and none of them are experiencing revival. Something’s wrong.
There are hundreds of thousands of churches in America, and few are experiencing revival. Something is very wrong.
We can’t continue with the same structure, the same model of ministry.
Last night was an unusual night at Revival Church. Prayer started as it always does at 5pm. Then, at 6pm, when we were to launch into worship, our worship leader was having an encounter with the Lord. Several people were around her, praying, warring, interceding. Banners were being waved over her as she contended under a veil. It was powerful.
I leaned over to a friend and said, “Do you think it’s time to give the announcements and take the offering?” He laughed.
Yet, in many churches, the activity of the Holy Spirit would be stopped to ensure everything remained on schedule.
Well after the normal 6pm starting time, our worship leader shared about her encounter, about how fire was all over her hands. She remembered an encounter she had of going to heaven a year ago, and that the trembling is intense in her yet again.
I want that kind of person leading worship at Revival Church! I’m losing interest in all of the ‘supposed to’s’ of church planting. I am raw, and I want a raw move of the Holy Spirit.
I want a place where people tremble as they walk through the door.
Last night someone was praying and declaring on the microphone and she collapsed under the glory of God. She was still there as I started to preach.
A strong prophetic atmosphere kept increasing throughout the night, and several were impacted by revelation from God at the altar.
After it was all done, someone said, “Revival Church is a ‘whatever’ church. Whatever God wants to do at any time during the service just happens.”
I like that. I think we need a lot of “Whatever Churches” in our nation.
