CoFI Break Video: A God of Our Own Design

Why doesn’t the church have authority against the emerging homosexual movement and the abortion movement? It has to do with how the church has been compromised by a focus on self, false human rights, our desires, greed and other selfish focuses.
Watch as I teach about the anointing that Bezalel received to launch the prayer movement, and that was used to fashion a god that gave them the pleasures that they demanded.

Based on my recent Charisma Magazine article, this message deals with the trend to run to worship events and away from prayer events.
People run to powerful worship music events and tend to run from prayer events. Is it possible that the music has become an idol? Can those who are living sinful, compromised lives blend in without any difficulty in a worship music driven church culture? Yes. But, develop a culture of prayer and the unrepentant will flee.

CoFI Media Update
The contractors are working hard…and our broadcasts will be delayed just a little bit.
First, I know, I know…you all are waiting for this year’s April Fool’s joke. Sorry to disappoint, but I think I’ll take a break this year (really…seriously…for sure)!
The target date for our new daily and weekly Carriers of Fire International broadcasts was April 1st, 2015.
Well, the work on our studio and other parts of the basement where my studio is is taking longer than expected. My goal is to start sometime next week.
Also, we are more than excited (I mean, we are BESIDE OURSELVES!) to report that our equipment will be upgraded radically thanks to a very special donation from a true partner of revival. That upgrade will take place soon, but, fear not, the broadcasts will take place during that process!
The new equipment will enable us to truly have a professional video studio to broadcast timely messages of prayer, revival and reformation to the nations!
So, here’s the details of what will be initiating over the next couple of weeks:
- CoFI Group Teaching: Every Saturday I’ll upload a new HD, full length teaching for use personally or in a small group. Open in prayer, watch the video and then discuss it together!
- CoFI Breaks: Most every day I’ll upload a short 5-10 minute message to keep you alert, encouraged and equipped.
- CoFI Partners: Soon you will be able to access our entire archive of audio and video teachings for a low monthly subscription of $10. The most recent 30 days will be FREE and accessible to all!

A powerful Detroit prayer strategy

Many of you are already aware of our ministry of prayer that has been advancing in Detroit over the last six years, but I wanted to send an important update to you.
If you are in the Detroit region, definitely lock in and pray. You will make a difference that will impact the region and eternity!

As most of you know, John and Amy Burton have moved out of Detroit and on to Branson, MO where Apostle John is getting ready to launch into the next level of developing Carriers of Fire International through media, writing and traveling. We're so excited about what God will be bringing from Branson!
Meanwhile, here in Detroit, we are forging ahead as we transition from Revival Church to theFurnace CoFI group. The vision is not decreasing but, indeed, increasing! I am trying to keep up the pace as God keeps sharing more and more of the vision and bringing pieces together.
One thing we are sure of and that is that God is calling us as City Church Intercessors to pray for the restoration of God's government in the church in our region and beyond. We have a burning passion for the body of Christ to see us grow and mature “until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
We hope you'll join us as we gather and pray together to see God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Here are a couple highlights we're looking forward to:
We will be joining forces with Shekinah at JHOP in Dearborn every 2nd Friday of the month! It's going to be a great time and POWERFUL!
We are also in the very beginning stages of developing a regional flag team that will carry out strategic prayer assignments throughout the region.

FIRST: I’m currently ministering for an amazing man of God, Glen Stead, in Prince Albert, Canada. God has been moving in very unique and powerful ways. We have extended the meetings for an extra night!
